The UK is removing & deporting thousands of people from the country every year, some of whom may be at risk after they are returned. Very little information is available on who is being removed and what happens to them after they leave the UK.

The Home Office does not release data on the demographics of people being removed. Removal flights often leave without public knowledge. There is no mechanism in place monitoring the outcome of removals. We do not know what happens to people after they are removed from the UK.

The Deportation Monitoring Network is filling this information gap by:

  • Tracking removals from the UK, both on commercial and charter flights
  • Recording demographic information from people who receive removal directions
  • Collecting anonymous reports on outcomes from people who have been removed from the UK

If you have removal directions or if you know of someone who has removal directions or who has already been removed/deported from the UK, you can download our report form and return it completed to dmn@amerainternational.org. Alternatively, click on the button below to complete the form online.

Any information you provide will be stored on a secure database. All information is anonymous. Please do not share the name of the person being removed. However, if there is already a public campaign or media article, please do share links to relevant materials.
