Sarah Wahby
Sarah is a supervising senior immigration caseworker at Turpin Miller LLP accredited at IAAS level 2. Working in the legal aid team at Turpin Miller she heads up the unaccompanied children and young people team. Prior to joining Turpin Miller, she worked in the voluntary sector in Egypt, with AMERA, and in the UK, with Afghan Association Paiwand. In these organisations, Sarah focused on delivering front-line advocacy, immigration advice and psychosocial services to children and families. Sarah coordinated research on education for Syrian youth with the Refugee Studies Center, University of Oxford and taught at the Center for Migration & Refugee Studies at the American University in Cairo. She holds a masters’ degree from the University of Sussex, and speaks French, Spanish and Egyptian Arabic.
