AMERA’s Deportation Monitoring Network establishes pilot project supported by the National Lottery Community Fund
AMERA International has received funding from the National Lottery Community Fund to establish a pilot project in the UK, entitled Connections and Information, Strengthened Representation.
Through connecting with individuals in detention and their family members in the UK, we will ensure that those communities and families most impacted by removal have access to timely and relevant information regarding the situation of their loved ones. Further, our work with individuals subject to removal directives will gather information to ensure that policy and legal representation for those in the UK is informed by relevant evidence and information. The project will strengthen links and communication between organisations supporting these individuals.
