Join our team and strengthen access to justice and legal representation for refugees
AMERA International is currently looking for volunteers, who can provide a minimum of one day per week, to work in the following areas:
- The Rights in Exile Programme – volunteers work in legal research and website development. Volunteers must have interest in and knowledge of refugee law.
- Fundraising
- Monitoring & Evaluation
Volunteers will work remotely, and will receive remote support, technical supervision and on-the-job training.

The Rights in Exile Programme provides internship opportunities, typically for master’s degree students studying law or issues related to forced migration. We strongly encourage applicants with knowledge of or interest in learning about refugee issues, refugee law, and developing research skills. Applicants should have good English writing and computing skills.
Interns will work remotely, and will receive remote support, technical supervision and on-the-job training.
Internships are for a minimum of three months, at a minimum of one day per week. More weekly hours are strongly encouraged.
